    Drum Roll Please ....

It happened!! It happened!! 9:20pm December 24, 2006, Nathan asked me to marry him!!!!  Okay...let me try to calm down...I'm still so excited and so incredibly happy that the man of my dreams just asked me to marry him!!!  Alright forget trying to calm myself...let me just tell you what happened. Humm....where should I start??

Well on Christmas Eve my family and his went to church together at Oakhills and after service my honey and I headed over to my aunt's house for dinner. I had been wondering if it would be that day or Christmas day, but figured that it probably would be Christmas cuz he kept saying that he had to drop me off early so he could head to his parent's house and spend some time with them. Around 8pm or later we left and after a very hilarious car drive we were in front of my home. He walked me up to the door and after we took my things inside and I had given him his Christmas present, he walked back to his car to get mine. Back he comes with roses in one hand and a card in the other (i think the card was in his other hand...hmm...) and yes, my heart started to race and a this very big smile appeared on my face. He handed me the roses and told me the card was my present and I was not to open it until Christmas morning. Now when he was saying this my mind was doing this: "Oh my word! This is it!...wait....a card I can't open till tomorrow?? Is the ring in the card??? How is he going to propose??? Over the phone!? I can't feel the ring in the card...oh well...maybe he'll propose tomorrow...man he had me going there..." About that moment he starts to pull something from behind his back and tell me that he wants me to open this today. Be still my heart!  Out comes this little box and with trembling fingers and a heart that is racing 1000mph I open it to find a beautiful ring staring at me.

He slipped the ring on my finger and that's when I about lost it. I always thought that I would cry when he popped the question, but it didn't. Instead I started giggling and jumping up and down and hugging him and squealing...lol...I might have even done a little dance...  I was so happy and excited that...yes...lol...I forgot to say yes. He did remind me though by saying that he guessed that all that was a yes and I quickly responded with a "Yes!! Yes!!" And now we are happily engaged!! I am going to try to post a some pics of my ring (it is so Beautiful!!!) and of my Nathan (he is so Handsome!!) so all can see.

Can you tell that I am happy???  Oh my gosh! You have no idea!!

    Merry Christmas everyone!!
